Dynamic EQ / Envelope Filter. An envelope follower detects the input signal's amplitude and uses it to modulate a filter's frequency (auto-wah) or gain (dynamic EQ / de-esser).
Bypasses the module processing when activated (ON).
Audio input flow(s).
Audio output flow(s).
Base filter frequency in Hz. In freq mode, this is the center frequency that the envelope sweeps from. In gain mode, this is the fixed frequency of the EQ band.
Filter Q / resonance, from 0.1 to 20. Higher values create a narrower, more resonant filter peak.
Modulation depth, from -1 to +1. In freq mode, controls the sweep range (up to +/- 4 octaves). In gain mode, controls the gain range (up to +/- 24 dB). Negative values invert the envelope response.
Envelope follower attack time in ms, from 0.1 to 500. Controls how fast the filter responds to increasing signal level. Short values for percussive response, longer for smoother tracking.
Envelope follower release time in ms, from 1 to 2000. Controls how fast the filter returns when the signal level decreases.
