Data Scaling Change Scale

Linearly remaps an input value from one range to another.

output = minOut + (input - minIn) / (maxIn - minIn) * (maxOut - minOut)

For example, to convert a 0..1 fader into a -12..+12 dB range, set minIn=0, maxIn=1, minOut=-12, maxOut=12.
