Data Generator Random Pattern Array (SCRIPT)

Generates random arrays of 0 or 1 values. Typically connected to the values inlet of a sequenced-switches module to create random on/off patterns.

You can double-click on the script to open it and change the number in the line const NB-ARRAY-OUT = 3; to choose the number of array outputs.

Settings

array len

Length of the generated array.

generate

Generates a new random array.

density

Probability of a '1' appearing at each position in the array, as a percentage.

  • 0: the array is entirely filled with '0'.
  • 0.5: roughly half '0' and half '1' (statistically).
  • 1: the array is entirely filled with '1'.

array out

Array output flow(s).

ID's

visible only in god mode, see setup-panel-tab-expert.

unique ID

Current private ID for this control used to identify the object.

preset ID

Current private preset ID for this control used for presets.

recreate ID

If you experience difficulties in Polyphonic mode, try to recreate new id(s) with this button.

repair ID s

Each Patch shared on the local network uses its own ID (identification number). If you experience issues of Patches that don't send information to the good target, this button will rebuild all these id's.

Object Remote Address

absolute

Absolute remote address. see objects-address.

local

Local to the current patch remote address. see objects-address.

user addr

User defined remote address. see objects-address.
