A moving average (also called rolling average or running average) smooths data by averaging the N most recent values. It is a type of finite impulse response (FIR) filter: the more values are averaged, the smoother the output but the slower it reacts to changes. Use it for sensor data smoothing, trend extraction, or removing high-frequency jitter.
A moving average applied to a rectangle LFO.
Input Data flow(s).
Size of the averaging window (number of values to average). Larger values produce smoother output.
Fills the output array with 0, according to the array len max.
Clears the array and sets its length to 0.
When On, values are automatically added to the queue even is they have not changed.
Filtered data output.
