Tape echo inspired by Roland Space Echo RE-201. Delay with wow/flutter, filtered feedback and tape saturation.
This module emulates the warm, organic delay character of vintage tape echo machines. The delay line includes tape-style wow and flutter (speed variation), a lowpass/highpass filter in the feedback loop for progressively darker repeats, and soft saturation that adds warmth and compression to the echoes as they decay.
Bypasses the module processing when activated (ON).
Audio input flow(s).
Audio output flow(s).
Delay time in ms.
Feedback amount in %. Controls how many echo repeats are produced. Higher values create longer echo trails.
Amount of tape speed variation. Adds subtle pitch wobble and drift characteristic of aging tape machines.
Tape saturation amount in the feedback loop. Adds soft compression and harmonic warmth to each echo repeat.
Feedback filter tone. Range: 0..1, mapping to 500..8000 Hz lowpass cutoff. Lower values produce darker, more muffled repeats; higher values keep the echoes brighter.
Dry/wet blend. 0 = dry (no echo), 1 = fully delayed (echo only).
