Diode clipper distortion with four clipping modes. Emulates the nonlinear behavior of diode-based clipping circuits found in classic guitar pedals.
Diode clippers are among the most common distortion circuits in guitar effects. Depending on the diode arrangement (symmetric or asymmetric, silicon or germanium), the clipping character ranges from smooth overdrive to aggressive hard clipping.
Bypasses the module processing when activated (ON).
Audio input flow(s).
Audio output flow(s).
Input gain before the clipping stage. Higher values push the signal further into the nonlinear clipping region, producing more distortion.
Selects the clipping mode:
Low-pass filter after the clipping stage. Controls the brightness of the distorted signal. Lower values produce a darker, smoother tone.
