Network TCP Client

TCP Client module.

Settings

on

Activates or deactivates the module.

ip

Host IP address.

port

Port used for the communication.

auth token

Optional shared-secret string used for HMAC-SHA256 challenge/response special authentication. Leave empty except to communicate with the UpdateAgent Tool.

connected

Sends 1 value when the client is connected to server.

command to send

Command to send with send command as a string.

send command

Sends the command assigned to command to send input.

command received

Received command as a string

received

Sends 1 value when a command is received.

received counter

Number of commands received since the beginning of the patch calculation.

source file name

Name and path of the file to send to the server.

dest file name

Name and path of the file as it is saved on the server.

send file

Sends the file source file name and save it on the server as the file name dest file name.

trace errors

When ON the module will display an error message in the trace-panel on all connection or transfer errors.

Opens the web browser to display information or help about the selected object, if it exists.

ID's

visible only in god mode, see setup-panel-tab-expert.

unique ID

Current private ID for this control used to identify the object.

preset ID

Current private preset ID for this control used for presets.

recreate ID

If you experience difficulties in Polyphonic mode, try to recreate new id(s) with this button.

repair ID s

Each Patch shared on the local network uses its own ID (identification number). If you experience issues of Patches that don't send information to the good target, this button will rebuild all these id's.

Object Remote Address

absolute

Absolute remote address. see objects-address.

local

Local to the current patch remote address. see objects-address.

user addr

User defined remote address. see objects-address.
