Computes a global scalar representing the overall amount of motion between consecutive video frames. Simpler and lighter than Optical Flow — outputs a single 0..1 value ideal for driving audio-reactive visuals or triggering events on movement.
Bypasses the module processing when activated (ON).
Video input flow(s).
Total time used for the calculation of the module.
Motion sensitivity multiplier. Higher values detect smaller movements. Logarithmic scale, range 0.1 to 10, default 1.0.
Temporal smoothing coefficient (one-pole low-pass). 0 means no smoothing (instant response), 0.99 means very slow response. Controls how quickly the energy output reacts to changes. Default 0.7.
Energy level above which the trigger output fires. Range 0 to 1, default 0.1.
Smoothed motion energy output, normalized 0 to 1. Represents the global amount of visual change between the current and previous frame.
Fires a trigger pulse when the energy exceeds the threshold.
