MIDI Expand Voices (SCRIPT)

Distributes incoming MIDI notes across several outputs to create individual monophonic or polyphonic voice channels. Only NOTE ON and NOTE OFF messages are processed; other message types are not passed through.

The NUM-OUTPUTS constant sets the number of outputs available. It is predefined to 8.

Settings

midi in

MIDI input flow(s).

out order

  • round robin: Assigns notes to outputs in sequential order (1, 2, 3, ..., then back to 1).
  • from first: Always starts assigning from the first output.
  • random: Assigns notes to a randomly chosen output.
  • rnd no repeat: Assigns notes randomly but avoids using the same output twice in a row.

monophonic

Force each output to be monophonic (one note at a time per output).

max out used

Maximum number of outputs used for voice distribution.

midi out

MIDI output flow(s).

Opens the web browser to display information or help about the selected object, if it exists.

ID's

visible only in god mode, see setup-panel-tab-expert.

unique ID

Current private ID for this control used to identify the object.

preset ID

Current private preset ID for this control used for presets.

recreate ID

If you experience difficulties in Polyphonic mode, try to recreate new id(s) with this button.

repair ID s

Each Patch shared on the local network uses its own ID (identification number). If you experience issues of Patches that don't send information to the good target, this button will rebuild all these id's.

Object Remote Address

absolute

Absolute remote address. see objects-address.

local

Local to the current patch remote address. see objects-address.

user addr

User defined remote address. see objects-address.
