Recording automations

Hello,

i want to record automation from my external synth and i'm facing many questions. First i created in the sequencer a very simple patch consisting of just a midi in. Then pressing the rec button from the user curve i have recorded differents knobs movement at the same time. my question is where can i save these automation ? and how to send them as midi out ? because i have tried to insert a user curve module linked to a midi out but i get INTERNAL ERROR !

My wish is to record long automation sequences with all the differents knobs recorded and being able to put them in sequencer mode

here a little example :

I've create a simple patch with a vsti and audio out
save it
drag and drop it on a track in seq mode
double click to open it
create a link from the freq parameter and choose " user curve(sequencer)
now in seq , i record my curve
save my workspace and my curves are recorded
now if i want send this curve to an other parameter of an other vst ( here the compressor ) i use data bus..
or midi out ( if you have error , check that you have a midi out selected in the setup /midi out )

thanks for yr help, but i can't manage to do what i want.... As you said i have created that simple patch with just a midi in and a user curve module then i dragged it in the sequencer mode. Then i played with my external synth (knobs tweaking) and i see the recording of my movement. Then i connect to the user curve out to a midi out module,press play and there is no midi..... when i click on the wire there 's no midi messages passing to the midi out, and my synth receive nothing ..... what's wrong here !!!

My goal is to record 10 knobs of my synth on the ten different user curves and then sending back the ten user curves automation to my synth in order to have a composed automation scenario in order to improvise with my guitar.....

Do these recorded automation record as well the control change number ? is it the only way to save the workspace for saving them ?

ok , so try this patch :

you can of course , save it and duplicate as you need..
must work..
about automation , it's data , not cc number ,
about , saving , yes i think ...
maybe some one else can confirm..?
