Monitor Out

Hi all,

where is the 'Monotor out' setup in the new version (4.01) ?
It doesn't appear in the 'Audio out' setup as in previous version .... but i need it .... :/

normally it still appears in the setup/audio out !

It is a bad news because it doesn't appear on my system !!!!
I tried to change my screen resolution, but nothing change in Usine, no monitor out !!!

did you change the default police size of windows?
or the titlebar height?

No i didn't tried but i have been trying now, and nothing changes ...
My police size is normal and my title bar height is 31 (my resolution is 1680 x 1050). But it is the same with a smaller title bar height or an other screen resolution !

In the 3.68 version of usine there is no problem, but since the 4.0 beta this problem appear ....

Before to find a solution, is there a way to configure the 'Monitor Out' manually ? In the setting.ini file ? ...

manualy
open the Default-settings.ini
find the line
INDEXheadphone out = ...

set INDEXheadphone out = -1 for no monitoring,
set INDEXheadphone out = 0 for monitoring as out1,
set INDEXheadphone out = 1 for monitoring as out2,
etc...

but you can try to restore the default settings of the windows desktop?

I'll post updates soon.

Thank you Olivier, you are a master !!! i have change setting in the 'default-setting.ini' file and now i can use my Headphone Monitoring, even if it doesn't appear in the Audio OUT setting of usine so far.
You are great because i will work with Usine next week and i want tu use the new 4.01 version.

Thank you Olivier for the 4.01a but it doesn't solve the problem of the 'Monitor OUT' Setup on my computer ...

@cmodica: did you try to reset your default desktop?
for example the basic xp theme?
your current proportions doesn't look 'normal'?

you are looking in the audio-in tab!!!
the monitor selector is in the audio-out.

Sorry Olivier, you are right !!! Monitor Out is ok in the 4.01a, but of course in the Audio Out tab !!!! :rolleyes:
