What do you think about this basic patch, is it the same logical ?
Here I control the envelope of the upper sampler using the enveloppe of the downer sampler.

I'd like to control the amplitude of a sound 1 with the envelope of a sound 2, which can be done with a hardware modular synthesizor (connecting CV out module to a VCA).
What do you think about this basic patch, is it the same logical ?

Yes, as the env delivers values between 0 to 1, I just scale them (here from -80 to 0 dB)
Well, I found other solutions with plugins like mda-Envelope (free VST) which can do the job too... The sound result is slightly different.
Now I have to compare with a real hardware solution with CV & VCA... If I can do that I'll post my results.
If anyone has worked on the subject, I'd be glad to have some information.
