about smooth & ramp

The "smooth module" seems to have an exponential way of run. What about options linear / log / exp, like in many other modules ?

I can't understand the reason why the "ramp module", when in button synchro mode, ends at 0 when, for example, parametered to go from 0 to 1 in up type. Isn't it tricky ?

In fact the smooth Attack/Release module provide a thiner control of the linear ramp shape and can do a good job?
