I've spent many hours trying to get HH2 to control a single light fixture (American DJ Mega Bar RGBA) via the ENTTEC DMXUSB PRO.
I was able to download the .dmx files for the fixture and I compared them with the similar American DJ line and all looked good. I am also able to connect to the fixture and control it outside of HH using ENTTEC's DMX Pro Manager.
I have the fixture set for 6-channel operation, with a starting ID of 1.
I have run through the HH2 DMX manual step by step at least 3 times. Darkness.
The Universe is set at 0 and the DMX device is set at 1. The ENTTEC device is both found and turned on in the control panel and is indeed device 1, 1st slot.
The activity light at the top of the program (the main header), blinks when moving the dimmer, as well as when faders are moved inside a patch. The 6th channel is the overall dimmer on this fixture, so I made sure that was up. while also trying red or green.
What have I missed?
Is there a trace mode for DMX data?
Thanks,
-j

Is anyone successfully doing DMX out of Usine on Windows 7 with an ENTTEC controller?
hello,
there is bug on the 068
you have to activate both options in the setup:
- DMX active
- Artnet active
in order to make dmx work properly in USB
will be corrected in the 069
