About templates (poll included)

Hello all,
I'm working on new templates ( templates are the menus items you get when you are creating a cable from an inlet or outlets ) .
I've some ideas but maybe some of you have encounter some situations where you thought "it 'll be nice to have such or such a proposal, so feel free to propose your ideas here.
Of course , I would favor the most general ideas.
Don't worry, i also plan to create wiki page to help those who want to create their own specific templates.
