For some reason I can't get midi to amplitube in usine pro.

Reason I'm using usine for amplitube is to implement tap tempo. which works a charm and I've successfully learned the tap button to my FCB1010

However I can't seem to get midi to the Amplitube 3.5 VSTi. All I can seem to get is either "midi in no midi" or if I try and creat a midi in, I simply get "in no midi" in the top box there.

Thing is the tap temp works fine.

Any help would be apprecieated. I saw one forum post on amplitube and x-gear and it seems to work there. I've read the wiki and not found my way yet.

thanks in advance!

Hello Stubish and welcome,
have you check if your virtual midi is active in the track ?
Image

check also the option " all patch of the rack" in the global setup/midi in

No luck yet. Enabled the input (was already so) and did not have "all patch of the rack" selected. it is now.

a change I've not noticed is that now I get a notification that usine is recieving midi messages in the log. tels me if it's a CC or a PC and what channel etc.

however no joy on the amplitube. I still have 'no midi' in both the vst and midi in components of the track. and no midi to the plugin.

Thanks again for the help.

one other note, I can see a recieve window in the midi in. I can't select it (if it's a button).

In the midi in module, the receive is a led, must light when you receive midi message.

main audio engine is ON..?
your track is active..?

you can also start a new empty workspace and just drag & drop the vsti Helios II to check

It's the little things that matter. Like turning the audio engine on.... Seems to be be solved. Will get back to you if things go south. Thanks for the help!
