Hi again!

I said I was going to practice ;)

I want to build a MIDI looper in Usine. Something like the Multiplayer X5, but for MIDI.
What would be the best way to do it?

Here's my feeble attempt at it:

Half the patch is just me using trial and error.
Don't know how to sync it to the master tempo, so that when I'd press start it'd start to record and by pressing stop the loop length would be set.
All this using quantize.

Also, how to get that MIDI out later for recording it in a VST host?

Thanks...

hello
what about the piano roll module...?
you have synchro and quantize record options and you can export midifiles when you have finished.....

Didn't consider the pianoroll :)

Well, tried and back again...

I get an error: "Internal In Buffer Switch Time Info" if I insert the SeqMIDI module and press play.

How is it done right?

i was talking about the " piano roll " module

the seqmidi module is an old one , senso let it here for backward compatibility ...

Thanks, my mistake, that did it!

Now I wonder if I want to sync it to master, should I:
1) Insert MasterSync module
2) Connect it's cycle pos output to Piano Roll's sync input?
