Graphic Snapshots for faders etc.

For a long time now, I haven't been able to change the appearance of my faders, buttons, switches, etc. In the “Snapshots” section of the graphical editor for these elements, there's nothing there.
Sometimes I copy and paste the Play, Stop, or Setup buttons from another patch. But that’s not very convenient.
How can I find these snapshots so I can use them in new patches?
