Wiimote

Hello,

I'm trying to use a wiimote with HH6 (last version) but I encountered some problem. The wiimote is well recognized by windows 10 and well
connected (Nintendo RVl-CNT 01 connecté) but no datas are received by the wiimote module. And either in the other direction.
Any idea of what could be the problem?
Thank you

Hi,

I haven't used a Wiimote for a while now.
I rememeber that some models were not seen in Usine.
At that time, it didn't work for me. I used OSCulator to receive the Wiimote data and send them to Usine as OSC commands.
Good luck

Sylvain

Hi Sylvain,

So, I'll try with OSCulator. Thank you!

... OSCulator is only for Mac, and I'm a Windows 10 user. I'll try to find another software.
If you ever have an idea

Thank you Grego. But I cannot use Bluesoleil because it asks for the pincode of the wiimote, and I don’t have it (I bought it second hand). I bypass it using Dolphin , an emulator for wiimote. But anyway I think it won’t solve my problem because Bluesoleil (or Dolphin) only works as a bluetooth driver. If I’m not mistaken. Or my wiimote is well connected and recognised by windows.
So I’d like to try with OSC as suggested by Sylvain.
But I don’t find an equivalent of OSCulator for windows...

Hello,

Anyone is actually using a wiimote with windows? I can't find a solution and I need a (cheap...) bluetooth controller for my project.

Hi,

Did you get a try to TouchOSC on your phone ?
I think you can now access to the gyroscope of your phone, and you'll have many switches and faders available. Can be a good alternative to Wiimote.

Hi Sylvain,
Thanks for the advice, that’s a good idea.
I used touchOSC on my phone for other projects , with faders and switch. I’ll try to access the gyroscope, that’s what I need for now.

Hi Sylvain,
I found an old one with gyroscope. It works fine. And it's cheap:-)
Thank you
