VSTs loading in a garbage state

In my wkp, both Kontakt and Guitar Rig are loading up in some sort of invalid state that leads to loud unpleasant noises on startup. In the case of Guitar Rig, it's immediate and constant. In the case of Kontakt, it is only when I play a note. In both cases, the output is extremely loud. It seems to happen all the time with Guitar Rig (6) but only certain Kontakt patches seem to be affected

It seems like the PM has loaded bad data into the VST on startup, or the VST wasn't ready to read the data.

Loading a preset from the PM fixes it immediately. It's just very awkward/dangerous if I happen to be live in the PA on startup.

I'm attaching the patch, which of course doesn't function without a lot of busses hooked up. But maybe someone can see an issue with the patching??

Thoughts?

Thanks!!!!!

well, it has now happened with BIOME, which is a completely different developer to Reaktor, Gtr Rig, or Kontakt. In BIOME's case it's actually been a good source of new random presets. Not so with the others, which make sustained 0 db noises that sometimes shut down my audio interface.

I tried putting a delayed message to load the current preset (after 100ms) on init, but that isn't working. hmmm.

All is well as soon as I select a preset, of course.
