I have some issues, and I don't know if they're bugs or not (and anyway the bugs section in the forum seems locked to me):
1) I imported a wav loop in a patch, added the "play" and "stop" switches, but while the start button works, the "stop" one doesn't seem to work: I need to deactivate the whole mixer channel for it to stop...
2) I loaded 2 VSTs, Helian Bass 2 and FreeAmp2 (from Frettedsynth), and I notice 2 things: first of all, sometimes (especially if I haven't played anything for more than 2-3 minutes) I experience stutter and distortion (just once, then all is well); secondly, and more importantly, if I reload the workspace I get an "overflow" error and a nasty sound in the speakers: then the audio engine stops working altogether, although I can still load other workspaces

I use a Motu Ultralite, sampling freq 44100Hz, 128 bloc size and buffer size.

hello,
thanks for feedbacks

I can reproduce this bug. Works fine on my systems. Are you sure you are in synchro "play button" in the sampler?

It seems to comes from problem in the freeamp2 or an incompatibility between both vst's.
I'll take a look.

PS: please report bug by mail! Easier for me.

What do you mean by that? Do you mean I must set the synchronization mode of the sampler?

Anyway, it seems that it's Freeamp2 that crashes Usine's engine, because if I build a workspace containing only the bass amp I have no problems at all (apart from one gap in sound after 3-5 seconds... then it's ok).

I tried the SimulAnalog Guitar suite for processing the "guitar" parts, and although quality-wise it's far from accurate (the Fender emulation is very transistor-like), it's extremely light-weight, both in terms of memory usage and CPU power, allowing more resources to be devoted to pre- and post-processing of the signal.

yes the sync inlet of the sampler must be in 'play button' mode.
