I'd like to use the mouse double-click trigger on a variety of UI modules to perform some functions but when I double click on the object (in this case the fader module) HH displays a numeric input field. Wonder if this can be disabled at the module level, or at a global level?

you can by connecting mousedown output to "edition enable" like this:

Thanks 23fx23. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work (for me). Here's my test. You can see that the numeric edit field still appears.

Thanks for your help!

yes but it is not what i posted here^^ i did try first as logic suggest like your pic, with a 'if not double clic, edit is enable' , but it also worked randomly,

however the mouse down to edition enabled work for me every time, did you try exactly like my pic (the mouse down to edition enabled, and not via busses or quick link but straight linked)?

here is a wksp wired like this that never displays the numerical edit on my 2 computers, either via mouse or touch double clic, give a try maybe, i would be surprised if not working,
or if so might be related to system double clic time

hmmm, I will try this. I mostly want to disable double-click entirely on all faders. when performing live I use a touchscreen and have no keyboard, so the popups are hard to dismiss, although they do now timeout eventually....
