I'm going to try and script up something to generate numbers from a beta distribution and wondered if it was better to script something simple like that or use the built in modules and make it as a patch. it will be easier for me to make a script, but will the script be faster or slower than a patch made from built in modules?
I'm using the algorithm from Dodge and Jerse : Computer Music p352
