Hi
Nobody on the french forum to help to resolve my problem ?
I'll try to explain it here.
I'd like to convert pitch data in time data.
i can modify the pitch with positive negative or 0 values (0 mean no pitch so 100% of the duration of my sample)
I'd like to deduce the operator which permit me to calculate the duration of my sample when i modify the speed.
thank you.
Jof

mmm speed double and length reduce of half when pitched an octave (+12),
so if not wrong should be len= original len / (pitch/6) maybe.

I was sure I had brought up this issue once, so I did a search and found
this thread from 2006. You'll find the formula there.

ok thank you
this formul : original_length / 2^(pitch/12) = shifted_length
seems interest me but i don't know what the symbol ^ means...
and how can i apply this formule in usine ?

^=power.
It's in the maths section of the browser as A ^ B (power)

So i tried to traduct this : 300 / 2^(7/12) = 200.225978126 in usine language without success

may i did some mistake ?
