Greetings all. I am trying to convert frequency to milliseconds but after dividing 1000 by the frequency i cannot figure out how to increment the milliseconds by semitones. Any ideas? thanks

semitones are the twelfth root of two, since an octave is the ratio of 2:1, and there are 12 of them in an octave.

You can approximate this with 1.06. There is a closer approximation in wikipedia, search for 'semitone' or 'twelfth root of two'.....

A is 440hz, so Bb is 440 * 1.06
