player, duration + markers

Unread post by gwennaelle » 15 Jul 2026, 18:29

Hello,
First, congratulations for HH7 !

I made this patch "4 x Loop Rec sampler", and I have 2 questions.

1. the duration.
Sometimes the duration get blocked on a value representing a small part of the file.
Would you know what is the problem in my patch ?

2. the markers.
I'd like to use markers, insert them in real time, and show them.
I tried to enable these settings, but my sampler doesn't have a “Show Markers” option (like in "Template Audio player with markers")
Would you know how to do for my record grain sampler ?

Thank you for your help

Hello

First you have 4 "audio thru" in parralel, I would not do that
Then each sampler also goes to a different out put, is that what you want ?
lot of things and patched anymore, you should remove them (random & reset fader seq)
I can't understand the goal of your your fader "duration" but the out of : [ file duration (in ms) * start pos (in %) + Fader duration (in ms) + 5 (why ?) / file duration ] goes to end position (in %)

I recomand you work on only one instance of your recorder.
clean it, remove everyhting you don't need and understand what you keep
and when it works has intended make several instance of it (polyphonic sub patch or 4 differents patches or the 4 in the same patch being careful with input, outputquicklink ...

have fun ;-)

+1 to Grego.
Put only one sampler in a subpatch so you could make it polyphonic later, then don't use quick links as it will be not good with polyphony.

you probably don't need all the wiring for duration, use markers and the next marker button
