Whenever I click on a preset, it triggers the circled button. I actually don't want that to happen. Any clues? It happens on my other patches as well that are similarly configured.

Did you disabled "save in preset" on it's options?, alternatively, delete it and recreate one with the option disabled

Wow. OK. Well I'm starting to get how that works. This is one of those very frustrating HH things. So it's my "MIDI Switch" that needs to have "saved in preset" selected. I can make that work, but the pre-condition is that the container patch has to have "saved in preset" (SIP) selected.

It's this sort of non-uniform hierarchy that makes things frustrating:
- Other items in the container (same level) must have SIP selected or not in order for their state to be saved in preset (easy to understand)
- The patch has to have SIP selected for the preset manager to work (at all); not so sure I get the reasoning, as I presume this would mean the parent (Rack) level's preset, which shouldn't concern itself with grandchild properties.
-The preset manager has it's own SIP. What would that be for?
I code for a living and I am either too hard-headed to get this, or it's simply ... non-uniform.

I'm pleased that I didn't have to recreate the preset manager. Just unselecting SIP on the button worked. I'm starting to use the built-in presets introduced in HH2, and I believe "recreating" those would not be possible at all anyway. There's no way to find them, much less delete them.
