I think it would be useful to easily decouple binding of engine on/off button from play/stop in settings options. I'm not even sure why it's bound like that in first place.

what play/stop do you mean ?
If it's on samplers, there is an option "on activation" that you can set to "do nothing" ?

I mean global play button that's at the top panel. I believe it's a 'transport' control
