I've noticed that Data Counter module always starts from minimum value when it reaches the end in circular mode regardless of increment value. However, in many cases you would adjust increment value for sake of wrapping effect that makes a shifting pattern. Also would be useful Bounce mode, although it can be made with workaround and bunch of modules there's no simple solution if increment value is designed to adjust and also min-max values are subject to change in live situation.
