I have been having thoughts of putting my monitor in portrait position and using Usine sideways, but this seems a bit overly convoluted of a way to achieve vertical scrolling of horizontal racks..:P

I think the rack view would be next level if we had an option (other than turning a monitor on its side) to design interfaces with horizontal racks. So many common sense interfaces are laid out horizontally, and I find myself struggling for horizontal space to put things in my racks without creating huge redundant voids of empty interface space and losing my overview of neighboring racks. With a horizontal rack view, rows of faders, knobs, waveforms, sequencers and that sort of linear stuff would be a lot more applicable to practical interfacing from within the rack and also would help with relative mirroring to external devices, ie: controllers, synth, sequencers, mixers etc etc

Of course a vertical scroll option in the IB would be most useful and welcome as well :)

unfortunately, hard to implement I'll think about that anyway.

the vertical IB scrollbar is somewhere in my huge TODO list...

All good.. It doesn't seem like there is an overwhelming amount of support for my suggestion anyways. I'll keep my fingers crossed for vertical scrolling in the ib. Cheers!

+1 for vertical IB scrolling. My performance display is much larger than my laptop display, but I use the laptop for patching....

--but I also can't get zoom to work in the IB. Maybe I am missing something?
