Maybe it's too complicated to implement... but with a limited number of control sources, a simple way to 'bind' them dynamically would be a HUGE help 
it could be implemented easily in usine but all control modules will have 20 more inlets and will increase the memory allocation for very specific problem.
Finally I'll take a compromise, only export the following inlets
midi learn
mode
channel
control type
control num
smpte
time code
osc learn
osc message
binds
binding string
