Hi,
I'd like to have a way to display different elements from different racks in a single window.

So what about master popup, container, or more pages for the IB ?

There is a concept of "HEAP" which is a small ID displayed in stand alone window and does exactly what you describe.
Actually the HEAP is an hidden feature and I don't know if it will be available in the next major release.

So today, any way to have an other "master display" ? What about a secondary windowed IB ?

The only thing I could find as of today is doing how I was suggesting. Bussing to a master patch and using a pop-up in floating-window mode.
Then you can position objects in the pop-up and move to another display. This is the only other way I can see at the moment.

I too would love to see more global windows, would be cool to have like a Workspace Pop-up you could send things too, or several toolboxes which can be unlocked and resized.

Along similar lines, would it be possible to add a "where" setting to VSTs. I'd love to combine VST UI panels with my hh controls.

unfortunately impossible in a cross platform application like usine...
