i use a bit another nodal for 3d particles at work and there are few ideas i find very interesting to speed up patching.
maybe some could be transposed to usine..maybe hard too
but who knows..
in patch when there is a module it behaves like this:
Ctrl+click on any module and drag = clone the module.
Maj+ middle click on header of module= delete module.
Maj+click on pin = delete wire coming in/or out to pin (coul be maj clic on wire ..)
right click empty area = quad with folders and sub modules (browser) (seems too long for usine, but could a shortcut to browser be inserted maybe, so when we right clic anywhere, with just a little mouse move and second clic we display the browser)
globally what i find cool/speed is that you only have one hand on ctrl/maj, no need to look at keyboard, and everything is done by click.
once you made an A+B or A*B or any recurrent module , you easy clone if need a new one, no need to open browser, and easy to delete connection or module is quite interesting too..
