I`d like to see the Windowsize and position in IB-mode memorized.
In the old Usine I had my the IB-window on my second (10"monotouch)screen. In Gridmode on a 800*600 resolution is not that suitable so I better switch between screens.
Also, in Gridmode I get a mixup of large and small objects. Large objects are often cuted without scrollbar. So different object sizes for IB and Gridmode would be neat too.
Disclaimer:
Its possible that I do not fully understand the single window concept with my linear german mind. Don`t hit me.

I'm not sure I understand because positions are memorized in the IB. So?
Maybe you mean "the container positions when they are in stand-alone, if they are located on your second monitor "?

In your case I imagine that the V4 style of the IB miss you a lot.
You are in the worst situation
The IB must now be on the main screen.
You can't have the grid on a monitor and the IB on a second one.
The idea could be to create another concept of a stand-alone IB.
Both IB and stand-alone IB could be two different objects and visible at the same time.
Don't worry I'll find a solution!

yes you're right, on small monitors I realize that it can be tricky. I'm working on a solution.
but the [ctrl+M] and [ctrl+P] commands can do a good job in some situations.

Fantastic! I meant shifting the whole Usine window but this is obsolete with a second IB. I could work on both monitors again.

can you stretch one IB window across both monitors? Or does usine not allow that? (windows does--am I right?)

I've got two touchscreens, and have been planning to mount them side by side. If only one can have an IB, that's a bummer.
