If possible, simply add a quantize on cycle/bar/beat option on the record button .
Could be useful if we want to record a loop and add it directly to the sequencer via the " to track number" panel.
I know that's possible to use the "bar recorder" patches, but this force us to store the file, search it manually and then put it in the sequencer.
A such option could be very very very helpful.

+1 for the quantize option
can be useful to have many tracks recorded with a quantized start, it's easier to work on it after (for mastering or so)

and another useful option request : midi learn on the record button, to start and stop discret record in live

I understand you pb.
I'll create a record panel object to be used in a patch and apply any manipulation you want.
