There seems to be a maximum number of ins and outs allowed on a script object. How difficult is it to raise that?? I'd like to control the text to a grid of 64 (or more) buttons from a script, but the script craps out at 48 i/o's. I'd rather use array outs, but I don't see a text array output object.

there is no limitation of the number of inlets/outlets in a script.
But depending on your screen resolution, you may have to scroll the module panel panel (yellow arrows) to show inlets at the end of the list.

so the module in the patchbay also has to scroll its connections??? That's strange behaviour, but okay, I see how it works.

Oh, okay, I clicked on the view box in the corner, and now I see all the connections.
