just a question: is usine already ready for multicore processors?(quad and dual core).

I'm not sure how usine behaves with quad cores, but dual core works nicely - you just have to remember to activate the optimization feature under the interface tab of the setup window. IIRC, the audio engine will run on a separate thread from the GUI stuff. The goes for hyper-threading on single-cores.

But don't mix multicore and multiprocessor: since stufs like Cubase or PT take great advantage on multiprocessor computers, Usine does'nt.
Let's say it shortly: Usine Standalone=>dualcore, Usine Plugin=>multiCPU (and why not multi-dualCPU!).
