Great to hear you are making a patch for the BSP §
How do you set up which one is setting the clock ?

So. Great machine but I found 2 major defaults on it
You have to save a pattern before changing on . it's no really convenient when you play live
It's really limited as a generic midi controler and you have always to change page between seq part and control part.
I didn't find any solution for the first problem.
But for the second one I advice you to configure your BSP with the arturia midi control center.
change all the knob as relative #1 behaviour instead of absolute. In this way, i made a patch that allow to recall different pages of control without any breaking of you're workflow to set VSTi parameters. as well as i create a virtual midi device that allow me to change channel number of the pad of the controller page.
i configured as follow :
for the controller : all the knob in relative mode
step control on midi channel 3
pad control on midi channel 4
sequencer 1 (green) on channel 1
sequencer 2 (yellow) on channel 2
drum sequencer (purple) on channel 10
On usine i create 1 rack with my remote patch
3 racks with arturia beatstep pro device in input filtered by channel and my virtual BSP device that allow me to route default midi channel (4) towards any of my 3 vsti
my remote patch is controlled with simple midi learn but send values parameters to my vsti by buses.
in that way one knob can control any frequency filter parameters of all my vst. I've just to select the one i want to control.
it's a little tricky but with this method you'll be as comfortable with your vsti than with hardware devices !
For the synchro you just have to activate "send midi clock" on the arturia beatstep pro output midi device.

Hello,
I'm joining this conversation because I'm also working on the relationship between Usine and an Arturia synth, in this case the Minibrute2.
I would like Usine to control the tempo of the Minibrute 2. I've found a few modules in Usine that could be ideas for synchronization (synchro clock or quantize midi) but I don't know how to get the midi information out and how to get the synth to receive it. There are certainly similarities between the Minibrute 2 and the Beatstep pro, so I try... If anyone has an idea, thank you very much! Gwennaëlle
