Hey guys.
I wonder if this is possible:
Let's say I have a sample on the grid in a section that loops 4 times.
I'd like to play this sample only the first time.
Possible?
Best,
tL.
(Also it might be nice to have an option like: 'Play on the x time section is looped'.
So that a sample could play on the last/4th playthrough for example. Would save a lot of additional sections...)
EDIT: Might there be a workaround? Like a "section playthrough counter" or something like this?

apart from approaching sections differently (just make section 4x size and put sample only in desired part, the rest is just repeated towards the end of section), you could use step sequencer for sampler that has 4x length of the sequence of the section, and sample playback is put where needed.

You can get duration of the section and apply it where you need. For sequencer you just multiply that duration to desired one and put playback trigger in desired step (duration would be divided to number of steps you set).

You have many tricky solutions for doing what you're expected.
The first x.iso solution looks like the simplest.
"Also it might be nice to have an option like: 'Play on the x time section is looped'. "
It's a good suggestion, not difficult to implement I presume. Put this suggestion in "the suggestions & improvements" part of the forum, Senso will for sure have a look at this.

Hmm... Isn't it actually possible to 'one-shot' the step-sequencer on activation?
Need to check this later...
Best,
tL.

Yeah, I think I will do that.
