Hi
because i have a big quantity of long audio file to load on some workspace , i'm often close to the maximum memory.
I tried to switch the sampler which had the longest file to disk but it dosen't resolve my problem or sometime it make a lot of audio drop.
this saturation arrive while i'm on half of my project.
never had this quesiotn with ableton live before...

An option in the sampler modules allows for loading samples in memory or read them from HD directly.

you're right !
that is why I made those multitap delay and consorts where samples are in memory once and can be played in up to 64 instances whithout extra memory load.
I also started to make a sample reader that would work on the same principle, but it is not working properly yet for larger files.

You maybe can load patches dynamically with IML. I thing when you erase a patch, Usine will empty the memory.
Never try this, but maybe it is a solution to explore....
But it is strange that the memory/file location doesn't solve your problem
All the best

Very curious. I changed all my samplers into disk instead or
Memory. Nothing happened until 3 times re opened
