Emulator X and Proteus VX are VST plugin instruments that do work with usine.
There is just one issue that may be easy to resolve, but I can't figure it out.
When ever the VST is loaded, it generates a message:

"The bank file cannot be found.
The bank file used by this project
,
no longer exists. If you wish, you can search elsewhere for the bank
or select another bank

Would you like to locate the bank?"

IF you click the No button, everything runs as expected, including loading the correct sound bank that was last selected.
BY THE WAY the comma in the quoted message is exactly as it appears, like a bank file with no name is trying to be loaded.

I can provide a copy of Proteus VX, as it was a "free" VST (and quite good, although no longer supported).

Thanks

It seems that when Usine is initializing a plugin, some parameters must be getting passed in, and the parameters are not quite right for Emulator-X. When I load Emulator-X in plogue bidule, I don't get this issue, so the plugin must be initialized differently.

Thanks for the comment.
We are working on a new version of the plugin manager.
I hope it will solve this issue.
