Hi,

finally I have some time to start learning Usine but I am having a hard time looking at the current screen colour scheme.

I wish that the background was in light colours, maybe that would help.

There is a option for color style in the setting but there is only the "default" choice.

Am I doing something wrong or the style change is not yet possible ?

I am using Usine on a Apple Mac OSX 10.9 and the version I have of Usine is "upd10 1.1.006a"

have a nice day here form Yangon

in the package/resources/colors/ you'll find the colorset.ini file, you can open it with Text edit
copy paste the colorset1 and rename it colorset2
then change the first lines like this

[Global]
Numberofset = 2
setname1 = default
setname2 = yourname

now you can change the colorset 2 parameters

Thank you for the fast response and for creating this great software.

I discovered that I would like all the fonts to be white and this looks great but I can not find in the text file where to change the font color in the Browser and the Patch window.
They remain grey even when I change the main clFont to $FFFFFFFF

thank you very much once more and have a nice day

yes, all parameters can't be changed, this file is for patches not system object like the browser , maybe in the future but not yet

Ok, thanks once again,

If I may suggest maybe in the future that you make a version with higher contrast (white fonts).

i just test your suggestion with clFont to $FFFFFFFF and i obtain a real contrasted white for fonts in patches so maybe i misunderstood or the problem is elsewhere..? screen graphics settings ?

of course it don't affect the browser, so maybe it's your main wish

Thank you for spending time on this.

I can for sure use it much easier now but if the fonts where white in the browser and especially on the modules (the input/output labels) that would be great.

Now let me jump into learning, the font colours on the modules for sue won`t stop me :-)

I agree. If you do not have a state-of-the-art monitor, or are working outdoors, the contrast can be insufficient. I really can't read HH text on my old Lenovo monitor even in a dark room.

The sooner we can configure this ourselves, the sooner I can move to new shade of purple ;)

But seriously, this would be a really good feature and I'm sure some lovely themes will come as a result.

be sure we think about it, definitively not easy but we 're looking for solutions
