I've made a quick test to run Cabbage but I've an error about an entry in csoundScoreEventAbsoolute ...and no really time to investigate, i've the csd files but not the dll...Last Csound is installed..

Wow, Rory has done a lot of improvements to Cabbage since I last looked at it, looks really interesting now!
I guess c4u is going to become obsolete

Although the exported VSTs from Cabbage have GUIs which don't show the controls, I'm trying to figure out how to get them to work correctly since there's some very interesting DSP in the examples (which work fine in Cabbage itself, though not especially useful without being in a Host to control them or route sound into FX)

It should be fairly trivial to convert the cabbage examples to work with Usine's Csound4Usine user module then you can use Usine's GUI control instead of the Cabbage ones. Just remove the <cabbage> </cabbage> section and then alter the chnget to "param1", "param2" etc.

Interesting advice, thanks caco
I actually am not interested in them for me, per se, as I horde VSTs like a crazed squirrel, but more interested in aiding them getting into the hands of non-technical folks to use... for instance, I didn't even know there was a Csound module in Usine, and would likely not spend my time futzing with it, instead mixing and mashing higher-order examples of fx, I'm not a root-level kinda creative type
