Hi Peops,
as the title says. How can I rename a knobs or faders' vst-parameter name. As it is now, when i make VST-parameters from certain controls they all have the same name in Reaper, like: Knob 1-1, Knob 1-1, Fader 1-1, Fader 1-1.
Is there a way that I can change the VST-parameter name?

First, name your faders (caption), then right click on it and choose find in remote panel , then assign it to VST parameter 0,1,2 ( last one on the right) and so
when you'll save your patch as VST , those names will appear

cool thank you nay. And If I don't save it as a patch? I want to use it as a virtual-inside of reaper-control whith "dynamic" parameter, so basically I'm will assign and reasign those Usine Parameter to different Reaper-Parameter and will also be renaming the Knobs & Faders in Usine.
is there some kind of "VST-parameter-name" inlet somewhere or a way to update the VST-parameter-names when changing the caption in Usine?
thanky a lot!

ha, ok,
I'm afraid no..there's no "VST-parameter-name" inlet and I've to investigate but i suppose that VST Host like Reaper, load the names the first time he load the VST, so i don't think there's a way to change this dynamically ?
Maybe you can create a list of VST parameter knob first , then you can change the route to different knobs/faders dynamically and change/display the names on the Usine panels..don't have test, just an idea..

Thanks for the info. There is a workaround if someone is interested: if you put VST parameters into the TCP of Reaper then you can alias those parameters and this name will be send to TouchOSC as readout.....so If i change the name in Usine, I would then have to change it in reaper too which brings me to the same result but with double-typing
