as we talk about reverbs in another topic , here an interesting plugin about reflections :

what the author say :
Ambia uses a 3D room model to create early reflections for positioning the sound source, and has an experimental reverberator for diffusion to add some ambiance. The plugin is still an early beta.

he also has 2 others ones ( love the wind chimes models)
WindChimes beta 0.5c WindChimes models wind forces and a wind chime with a selectable number of bars. It issues MIDI notes when a chime is struck.

and GrainMaker is a granular VST effect

visit his homepage
( he also has cool music to listen )

cool . that looks interesting. thanks nay. gonna check this asap.

i m really interested in 3D positioning. Mind you , I only have one ear working so im a mono guy :).
but hopefully i still can feel stereo, and love multisources experimentations.

That totally make sense to me a more realistic space simulator should at least take care of stereo positioning of the source, (most reverbs are still mono to stereo VSTs) , I made experiments with VSS3 wich is a strue tereo or dual mono source reverb, and results where much more realistic when isolating sources and pan locations rather than feed it with blend mono.
To go even deeper such system should ideally consider the 6 axis L/R/F/B/T/B to be completely accurate. Problem is 6 autio tracks per souce make a simple 8 sounds tracks 3D reverb would need to be feed by 48 tracks!, wich seems totally ressource hog vs a simple send reverb.

it just make me think there should maybe exist a unified standart in future to make that classic audio tracks could also transport other kind of light datas such as a XYZ positioning, timecodes or whatever types of float/arrays/strings. kind of unified OSc hide in audio flows, but that remain unafected by process over the chain in daws, so instead of 48 tracks of above exemple,
the plug would be feed only by 8 mono sources, and their corresponding XYZ extra infos.
the vst would then decode individuals XYZ and make the reverb compute accurate 3D simulation reflatened then to stereo or 5.1.
don't know how to call that, kind of 'multi-3D sources to bi-naural' reverb. that would also allow advanced 3d motions events.

if VST3, 4 or i don't know plugins could use/read those meta-datas inside the sound, that would open fantastic new doors!
