so, I am searching a good vst reverb.
I was used to my 'spend lot's of cash' TC powercore VSS3 wich is still the best reverb i ever heard, ultra realist.
but im fed up with plugging dsp, powercore sound awesome but is not stable, add one buffer latency ect.
idlike to go all native now. keep the poco only for mastering or refining purposes, prepare some samples ect, i don't want to have to plug it for global song creation or live performance. so , i need a native reverb.
of course there are lots of good convolutions reverbs, Altiverb being one of them but i would prefer an algorithmic one,
since im used to "animate " reverb parameters like tail duration, and that's usually not realtime automatable on convolutions, and there are globally less controls, more cpu hungry ect..so...im more looking for an algorithmic one.
after testing lot of them i was very disapointed. results where very far from Tc.
i only found Breverb that is correct and light on cpu,or Lexicon PCM being the closest but quite hungry, and at 1800$..
i was really stunned i found one that sounded very nice to my ears and cost only 30 euros!!!
and it have a nice intutive interesting thing: you position the elements in a virtual room, wich make total sense for me.
don't know why not more used.. can put stuff back right, some front left ect..
so if you're looking for a cheap good sounding reverb i recommand to check this one:
MReverb
.. and if you got some good reverbs suggestions please let me know, overall curious what do ya use as reverb guys ?
