Ok, I am onboard having just bought a Pro License!
Can I just load the Usine Piano roll when uisng the vst version? I am using Cantabile as my host; The one thing I have been wanting for Cantabile is just a piano roll.
Using Usine as a vst, I have learned how to add the paino roll module and then setup the midi out so it does work. But I am a bit curious, since I have to go through a few steps is there any way to only get the piano roll to open instead of going through the Usine main screen?

I also would like this for screen focus and open only ability for some of the midi add-ons like "smartusines", "rhombusine", etc ... Kinda like they were vst's that I was opening inside my host with just a click of one button.

the piano roll is a module of Usine so you have to run Usine to use it..

just a tip : gurulogic give me the idea , :
in cantabile next the piano , on the left you have 4 button , right click on one and choose customize / choose the midi controller number you want
in Usine add a switch to the visible inlet of the piano roll
right click on it choose remote mode toggle and then midi learn it with the cantabile button..et hop
you have a button in cantabile who open the piano roll...

update : you have to minimize the Usine window, this way Usine don't open over cantabile when you click again on your cantabile button to hide the piano roll...

in, fact when you'll be more easy with Usine you'll see that you can do the same with addons, putting them in container and link the switch to their visible inlet..

LOL, I probably won't use the piano roll as much as the add on sequencers ... as the add ons look like more fun

However the answer for the piano roll would be the same for the add-ons, so again thanks for the help.
Also I am starting to consider the possibility that of a Usine add-on like
http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/2010/06 ... -midi.html would really make my setup fun.
