Hello,

i was wondering if it would be possible to write a scale in the piano roll and then the scale would be played randomly ? with the possibility of changing as well the time value of the notes (randomly) ?

thanks

i've a project in beta stage like this ;
_ adding some random module or sub-patch to the ppQpos inlet of the piano roll
_adding a range fader on the start pos and end pos
adding a midi transformer module after your piano roll with a random on the length inlet...

Great !

i'm sure u will create an another UFO kinf of patch !

To give precision to my request : let's say i'm writing a B Dorian scale in the piano roll : B C# D E F# G# A B

And this scale is written in 4/4 using eighth note (croches). My wish is to be able to switch from what is written in the piano roll to some others notes duration, for example let's say switching to triplets with randomized B dorian scale notes :)

It would be nice as well to be able to modify the time signature in the piano roll ? switching from 4/4 to 5/8 for example ? and so the note duration options will follow the maximum time value offered by the time signature ?

:)
