now we have to patch this when the matrix become multi touch and find a way , maybe with fade option , to replace pressure sensitive features..;-)

this is near to my dream interface! imagine projecting IB Matrix with a pico projector!, im sure it's at least 2x times less latency and more precise than any touch screen, even high end stantum or 3m, while ive just been using some ribbon controllers of electribeMX or xy of nanoppad, i find it's the best tactile expressive way of doing sound, far more responsive than ie an iphone or touchscreen i tried since now.. now that decent mutitouch seems to come, the "pressure" argument will make the wait a bit more longer for me.
i think better a ultra responsive 2 touch XYZ than 20XY with latency...

maybe not that far away if hacking wacom bamboos with jeanrene ;) ?

theorically allows dual touch with 1024 pressure levels(wonder if stylus only, sadly probable..), 133hz stylus, 50hz touch report for 50e! could be a good challenger for that... im using intuos at work they re best tablets ever..
while wacom has been the tablet challenger for many years now, and start to move to sound with their beat system,
a combo pico-projector/wacom tablet is a case i more and more see as a great alternative:
could be precise, fast, ultra portable and multitask, for relative descent price..
