Hello,
As a beginner, I'm trying to create one piano roll for each 3 tracks of a new project . Everything works as planned, but I have a question:
Is it possible to move/copy note events between two different piano rolls on different tracks?.What I was trying is not a realtime task but a simple copy and paste.
Thank you,
Floego.

you can copy paste the piano roll himself ..

or use the save as midifile menu..
then import midi file..

I was thinking in something similar to the copy and paste that can be done between patterns inside a piano roll, but this time between patterns inside two separated piano rolls, even in different tracks. For example, say I have a pattern of a hihat, another pattern of a snare, and another one of a kick. How can I glue then into just one piano roll pattern the easy way?

i understand but not directly possible right now..
best way : use a 16 midi file piano roll copy/paste between different patterns , , save them as midi files..( could be cool to build a bank of pattern ) import them in you other piano roll and copy paste..
could be quick with some practice..

finally this is what I did!
connected the midi outs of three piano rolls (hihat, snare, kick) to the "midi in" of another empty piano roll in overdub mode. I just activate rec inside the empty piano roll. It glued the patterns!.
Maybe it could be possible to create a module (or script) for automatizing this task in a more general way? Sorry for asking, I'm just a beginner.
Thank you
Floego.
